vector variable with 1 and 1+ possible?

i have used vector variables in the past to do AAs and have collected digits and added them together with CATR. this has worked great but now i want to do it where the extensions overlap the digit to be pressed.

i have a menu where they want to list all 9 selector codes and be able to dial the extension directly. it works with regular route to and no variables but of course the vector timeout at 4 seconds is a little long. can i do overlapping? i tried it but only the first step works with the overlap. if i swith them then the it swithces the steps that will work
