How can I use type that is Vector based (as opposed to raster/pixel) I want vector so that I can have razor sharp text.

Thanks

If you are using recent versions of Photoshop, just type. Consult the manual for details on the type tool.

If you are placing this image into another application, such as InDesign, you should save a copy as PDF. A Photoshop PDF is the only format that will keep vector type when placed in InDesign.
