Vdb7 Append cmd loses data

Hello,
Has anyone encounter loosing data, mostly the last column, when 'appending from' in vDB7
Note that this happens when the table stuctures are slightly different:
ie
Table1=field1, f2, f3, f4
Table2=field1, f2, f3

When I append from Table1 into Table2 I loose the f3 field data.
Is this wierd or what!
