Ok, I've inherited a VCX Connect 100 system which is using the internal gateway interface with 2 - 4x Port FXO cards and 1 - 4x Port FXS card. We are using analog circuits from the PSTN (obviously).
The system seems to work fine except for when a caller hangs up before the call is answered. What happens is that the call nevers disconnects, the gateway will keep the call active even though the calling party has disconnected. It will keep ringing the hunt group, then through the AA, into the VM until the VM finally times out.
If the "phantom call" is picked up by one of the phones, and hung up, then the line clears properly.
Any ideas?
