VCM Module basics

Hi

I am new to Ip office. To install the VCM, is it enough to plug in the card into the IP or does some software installation need to be done.

Please help.

Just stick it in. Check in monitor to be sure it show the card

Plug and play(ish) - power off, anti-static straps etc, open box, insert platic raiser pillars, insert VCM, close box, power up.

Remember that not all VCM's are supported in all systems, IP403 and IP406 V1 can support one VCM5, 10 or 20. The IP406 V2 supports a single VCM including the VCM30. The IP412 can support two VCMs of any type.

Get the t-shirt, buy the mug and throw the stress ball hard.
