Hi all

does anybody know if it is possible to have 2 VCF's or signature files when you send an email.

all users have got there details IE phone number, web addresses Etc, but I need to add a disclaimer on the end of all the emails.

I would just tack it onto the end of the standard VCF's but the user will lose there information.

anybodys help would be appreciated

Chris

Company Footer on All Outbound Emails

Question: Can a Company footer/disclaimer be added automatically to all outbound internet messages?

Answer: This is not currently a feature of GroupWise. The work around would be to add a signature to each client mailbox.

There are some third party products available that will do this, such as Guinevere ( or FootNote (

Signature Feature in WebAccess

Question: Is the Signature feature available in WebAccess?

Answer: Yes, GroupWise 6 WebAccess does support the signature feature. When you are composing a message it gives you the option of attaching the signature (which is displayed on the page) using a checkbox.

Read Automatically Adding A Signature to Items You Send in the Modifying WebAccess Options section of the GroupWise WebAccess documentation.

Prompt Before Adding Signature

Question: S.W. wrote: My system administrator added my "signature" for my emails. It is at the bottom of my outgoing emails. The problem is, I don't know how to hide the signature in case i don't want anyone to see it, or how to contact me, my name, extension, etc.

Answer: In the GroupWise client choose: Tools > Options > Environment > Signature
Click "Prompt Before Adding" to give you the choice whether or not to add a signature to each item you post.
Click OK.

Multiple Signatures with One Account

Question: Pieter Van B. wrote: I need to use more than one signature, but it seems with 5.5 that this is impossible? Creating multiple signatures and accessing such a list via an icon is imperative, as we academics communicate in more than one language, and correspond in various capacities, as head of a department, editor of a journal, chairperson of a committee, etc. etc. Is there a way around this limitation?

Answer: The solution you are looking for is not in GroupWise 6. GroupWise 6 supports multiple signatures, but you can only use one per account.

Nexic Symphony has the feature you're looking for, as well as many others you may like. Check them out.
