VC++ on win2000 - Symbols Setup

Hi,

i have a VC++ 6.0 PE for NT (3 years old CD) that i just installed on my w2k laptop. Installation was fine but when trying the symbol setup procedure (to enable debugging feature) i got messages saying that the version of many .dll files was not compatible with the files i was installing.

Any advice?
