vbsendmail.dll problem

Hi All,
I have utility (vbsendmail.dll) to send mails.
but this keeps sending even if the net is down, so there is no system to confirm whether the mail is already sent or not can any one please help me in this.

Hi,
I use this same control in some of my vb applications and I have never had any problems with it working. Can you be a little more detailed on the problem and tell me what type of operating system this is running on and what version of VB you are using?

I am using win 2k prof and vb6 sp5,
some how i feel the mails are not sent in all occasions.
or if have a method can u please tell me in teh that dll

Is there any option in the vbsendmail component where if i am not able to send the mail, i need to find that.
is there any property or method to find this out.

i am using this component vbsendmail.dll,
but i want to check whether the mail server is up or if the isp is down, is there any provision for this, in this component.
