VBScript to Clean Disk Space

that is simply a script to execute defrag.exe. The prompt you see is from defrag.exe. I do not believe there is a switch to run defrag in silent mode.

Seems to me, you're reinventing the wheel. There are plenty of free tools like CCleaner that do a good job of removing unnecessary files.

If you really wan't to write your own script, you could start by running CCleaner on a machine and noting where it looks for files. Add in other locations as needed.

I certainly don't want to re-invent the wheel, but I need to be able to clean numerous computers remotely.

Will check CCleaner
 
Looks like I missed the remote part. I would still suggest looking at CCleaner and similar tools to find out all the locations they clean files out of.
