In the Windows sound controls, there is a volume and mute checkbox on the mic. I need a script to uncheck the mute box. Any ideas? At one time I had traced the value in the registry but it was a while ago and I would rather not do a reg hack if I don't need to. Any ideas?

vbscript to change mute/unmute

WMI only has methods for Reset and Set Power State for Win32_SoundDevice class, so I doubt you can script it other than through send keys to the GUI.
