Hi,

I have designed froms in Outlook, each with VBScript code attached. I did this in Outlook 2000 and everything was working fine across the organisation.

Some people have moved to Outlook 2002 and now the script will not run - can I\how do I tell the users to change security settings to get the system running?

Thanks

Grippen

Most likey your Exchange Admin has set macro security to HIGH. If he has not restricted the user from changing the macro security they can go to tools > Macros > Security and change the option to medium or low.

If your admin has removed this option from the users. The only way you can get your custom macros to run is to get the digitally signed. See Microsoft Q article Q307731. Of course you need to have a digital certificate from someone like Verisign. The Q artilce explains how to digitally sign a macro. All of the changes in Outlook 2002 are due to the new increased security. "Only those who risk going too far
can possibly find out how far one
can go."
