We purchased some additional motorola symbol units that have a new vbscript.dll and it gives a permissions error whenever a msgbox is used in the arcpad 7.1 vbscript code. The existing units run the code fine. both units have mobile 6.1 on them.
I tried manually updating the vbscript.dll on the unit but it won't let me.
Does anyone know how to get around the permissions error for msgbox stmts in vbscript code in a Arcpad 7.1 application running on mobile 6.1 device?
