vbscript error 800A0046 in vista

Ok - I'm having difficulties with my script.

I want to copy a file to a bunch of different folders under C:\.

this stinkin "800A0046" error is in my way. I'm reading lots about UAC and yadda yadda. I'd just like to know how to get around it from my vbscript.

any suggestions?

I will have to look more into this issue when I get home on my Vista box; however, a couple ideas are...

* Disable UAC

* Change folder permissions on C:\ drive

* Open an elevated (admin rights) command prompt
* change directory to vbscript location
* EXAMPLE TYPE: cd "C:\<TheFolder>"
* Start the script
* EXAMPLE TYPE: start <ScriptName>.vbs

thanks for the input.

I will attempt to disable UAC as I have already tried the elevated command prompt with no success.
