Goodmorning all,
I am looking for a Vbscript editor that either is cheap or free. Unfortunately, my company has thrown me into a new position of writing VBscripts which I have had to tackle with no prior VBS experience, and hasn't been very kind with purchasing the necessary tools such as an editor.

I have been using Site Pro 6.3, which I thought was quite usefull, but only has a 30 day trial. I haven't been able to take the time and extingush all it's potential.

However, I was wanting to turn to the community for assistance in their recommendations.

Not sure of your OS or version but Microsoft had a built-in script editor (before Office 2003). Do a local search for "MSE7.exe". If found, right click on it and create a shotcut then place it on your desktop. For Office2000 it shold be loacted at "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\MSE7.EXE

Wow this MSE7 is pretty nifty for what I need it for.

I must say that i think "primalscript" from Sapien is cheap for the reason it can do so muchmore than VBS

I do all of my scripting in PrimalScript.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

I give a hearty vote for AdminScriptEditor. Powerfuls, fast, keyword highlighting, intellisense Help, and great add ons that write the code for you (Reg Keys, etc)
