While I know you can use pretty much anything to write vbscript, I was wondering / looking for a freeware VBScript Editor, something that you can actually from it from etc.
Any thoughts / tips / locations of apps to do this is appreciated.
Although not free it's worth investing in UltraEdit which can be set up to Edit various file types to look like Microsoft VB editors etc (I don't know what you call it but you can have statements and commands etc in different colours).
Also it will handle huge files I have opened and edited a 500MB file!
you can install libraries (which you can customize) for just about any language you can think of.
textpad is like winzip - you can use it free forever, but it is so inexpensive, just pay the money to get rid of the extra screen.... Get the Best Answers! faq333-2924

I like UltraEdit for its power and for its added features of syntax highlighting and brace (bracket, paren) matching. Saved me a TON o' time when Perling.
TextPad looks interesting, and has add-ons for syntax highlighting from what I can tell.
I have found Primal Script and Edit+ (as suggested by thorntonb) to be 2 of the better editory (or IDE's in the case of PrimalScript). PrimalScript is by far the best I have used yet...but is also the more expensive.
