VBSCRIPT classes

I am trying to make a valdation class for my forms on my site. I have made my class in a seperate .asp file. I include this file at the top of the page but when I go to the page, I get an error saying:
Class not defined: "Class"

Can anyone give me some help with this. I have checked that all names are the same and all the other obvious things to check.
