Hi,

I need to create a logon script which runs at logon for a user. The script needs to detect the ip address of the users machine then run the relevant batch file for that site.

How can i do this with a batch file preferably or vb script? I have had issues with vb scripts running at logon hence the bat file preference. This is to run from a windows 2003 server on an xp client.

Thanks
Kev

not using vbscript, you can get the machines AD site using
nltest /dsgetsite
will be easier than the ip mapping to site? unless you mean site in some other context
