VBS for VPN Connections

I have setup multiple VPN accounts on my Windows 2003 Server.

Is there a script to display a welcome message on the clients computer after it has connected to the server via VPN?

I've tried a simple VBS that should display a welcome box but I've read that this only appears on local logins, not remote logins via VPN. Is this correct?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I used the user config in Active directory GPO Login container to kick off VB scripts on my VPN clients..Works well....
