VBA when an outlook task changes

I am creating a task for users from an access db. i would like that when the user has completed the task that some vba code would run to update the db.

is this possible?

if not then maybe i could like the db shortcut in the task and the user complete the task in the db then some code could complete that specific task in outlook?
