Hello,
I'm using Access XP, I need to write code to export a table to excel, while picking up a field from a query to put into the resulting file name. The query result is 0704, I need to put that into the file name, such as "0704.vapgltrans.csv". Any hints on where to start?

Thanks

Have a look at the TransferSpreadsheet method for the export and at the DLookUp function to get your value.

Hope This Helps, PH.
