Hi,
Is there any text that you can recommend for someone trying to get a better understanding of VBA for Access? I would rate my knowledge of Access at close to an Intermediate Level and have a general understanding (though not any experience) of Visual Basic (took an Introductory class in VB6 about 2 years ago).

Thank you for your help

I personally like the Access Developer's handbook series published by Sybex. They are NOT a for dummies books. So there isn't all that click here and don't for get to wipe and flush nonsense (I'm obvously not a For Dummies fan). Like most Sybex books, there is just a dash of humor here and there so you don't want to ram your head into a wall while reading. I have both the 97 and 2000 editions and I love 'em. The book(s) cover not just VBA but the whole package. I did skip entire sections because of experience but I highly recommend them (Vol 1 and Vol 2). Vol 2 is great reference if you are going to make a multi-user application but you can probably get by with Vol 1. If you buy them together, you get a discount.

The other great reference tool... Access 97 Help. Install Access 97 with the all the help topics. I don't know why the help would not get better but it is Microsoft. You can probably get by with out it. But who wants too?

Excellent - thank you. I also found some additional threads in this forum with some very good insight as well.
