Hi,

I am using one of Word's automatically generated templates, however I have mosified in slightly to meet my demands.

I have another file where users have to copy and paste this text into the template.

What I am then trying to do is once the user pastes in this text wyas in which to then delete this text, or move it to another location in the template or to change the texts format size etc, however I want this to be done automatically by the system not by the user. e.g as soon as text is placed in it's position the system will then automatically either delete, modify or moe the text.

Can anyone tell me if this is at all possible and any ideas?.

Thanks.

It's definitely possible, it just depends on how you are identifying the fields your are pasting. Are they bookmarked fields, mail merge fields, ...?

The text I will be pasting into the template is just ordinary typed in text that has been typed in word. The user just has to select whichever text say a paragraph at a time fromthe text file and then go back to the template and insert the text.
