I have a powerpoint file which presents a userform to allow entering data to be used in charts and tables in another powerpoint file. I have suddenly started getting a dialog which states:
"Microsoft Office Excel
The object is not responding because the source application may be busy."
I have no idea what is causing this dialog. The charts that are being referenced in the PPT file are not being opened (until the program finishes), my class stores a reference to the PPT shape, but I don't know what would be keeping Excel busy? Either clicking 'OK' or 'Cancel' doesn't stop the dialog from reappearing every few moments.
Can anyone help me determine what would be the cause for this?
