VBA in Outlook

I am trying to extend some Outlook capabilities. When you use Outlook to dial up a contact, it provides a check off on the dialog box to allow you to enter a journal entry. When you check this, another dialog box comes up. Is that form accessible via VBA or do I need to recreate it? Also, can I access the sound card from within VBA? I can't seem to find the necessary reference material.
