Hello,

My question might be relatively simple for all of you experts, so I figured this was the best place to ask. This is my delimma:

Does everyone know, in LiveLink when you click "add a document", then you select the file using the browse button, then click 'upload'...and Livelink add's the document.

Alright, well what Im exploring is if can I have Microsoft Word..automatically save a document as .pdf but the kink is, I dont want the document saved to my desktop...I want to save it into LiveLink, by passing data from Word to that LiveLinkform I just mentioned above using the Web Control.

Does anyone know if that is possible? Currently, I can get my VBA to pass information out of Word, into a form in Excel for instance but I haven't figured out how to do it in LiveLink. And if this isn't a viable solution, does anyone have any suggestions?

If you have Explorer/Enterprise Connect, you can select Livelink as your SAVE location from Office, so that should work and should be possible.

If you need to do it without these, then you would need to replicate the HTTP request or make a LAPI/WebService call instead from your VBA code.
