Is there a way of being able to set the paper type to Plain, within VBA for Excel.

I can set size, margings, oriantation etc.But I need to find away to force the use of plain type paper.

hi,

I don't suppose so, because each printer driver is DIFFERENT, amd if there were printer driver objects and properties, they would be supplied by the printer manufacturer. I have never been able to find HP printer driver objects and properties, for instance.

Thought for you -

If you load the paper into a pre-determined tray on the printer and then started the macro recorder, you could go into the print options and go to printing preferences, select the desired tray and run a print and stop the recorder.

Then go back into the macro you just recorded and start dicing and slicing.

Don't know if it would work but it would be a starting point.

I will also check my code library and see if there is anything specific that would be helpful.
