When I get a debug error in vba code, when selecting close debug window, it jumps completely out of access.
I have other databases that do not do this.
Is there some sort of setting??
Thanks

Before you close the debug window, do you click on the reset button (or click on Run, Reset)? If not, try that.

When the code breaks I then close the code window, I get the VBA message "this will stop the debugger"
I hit OK and it leaves access rather than returning to the DB window.

"this will stop the debugger"

means that you didn't click on the reset button. Please try doing that before closing the vba window.

I do not see a reset button
All I get is OK Cancel Help

As a test I created a blank database from scratch.
I then imported everything from the db that's causing me the problem an guess what, It works fine??
It does not replicate the problem.
