I'm using ms access 2007. In the ms access application options I have a form to be open when the application is open. For example, in the Display form I have frmStart.

Would like to check the display form object in the application options and override the form with a different form If an specific user is logon.

Could you some let me know the object to do that? I the code to check for the user id but don't remember the object or code to override the form.

Your guidance and sharing expertise will be appreciated.

The easier would be build a start form that is invisible. Does not need any controls. In that form's on open event determine who is logged in. In the same event open the proper form and close the start form.

or you could use an [blue]AutoExec[/blue] macro to run your code and open the proper form.

See Ya! . . . . . .
