VBA behind reports?

I created a report that list information for parents and kids. AS you might imagine a many to one relationship can exist. When I encounter a family of 3 kids the output triples. This does not suprise me and in a weird way makes sense. But my user fails to see the humor and wants it to stop.

There are subforms involved and they are based on queries. I know that I can build a table using VBA, but is there another quick and dirty way? Also can VBA be placed behind a report? If so are there any limitations?

If you take your time and think of placing the totals in group headers/footers instead of simply dropping them into Detail section, it will stop...

VBA behind reports: of course. Just open the report in Design view, then go to View-Code and play around with the form and its sections and their events and properties...

Good luck [smile]

Thanks Daniel, I found the problem and resolved it. I was using the kids key and the family key. When I removed the kids key it stopped. Actually you are rignt about taking my time I happend upon the answer as I was taking an alternative route. It was a true GOTCHA moment!
