A client is using Progression 7.5.103e. There is a VBA addin to enhance the BOL functionality. It seems to be tied to one specific user and his desktop PC. Logging in as the same username on a different machine loses the functionality. Where are the settings to enable this stored? There is a M:\MAC75103\vbaPrj\OE0101.O\jim directory containing the functions on the server. There are no file permission problems, etc.
Thanks for any help

You need someone who can troubleshoot Flex installs to help you. There's too many variables for a forum reply. Your local VAR can help you, or you can contact my company at

The local VAR is the one that wrote it, but has since closed up shop. If we don't find anyone local I'll give you a call.
Thanks

If the guy who closed up shop is the one who used to cover Houston/Dallas, I'm nearby. It wouldn't require a lot of hours, just needs to be someone who knows what to look for.

We're in central Iowa so it would be a bit of a trek.
We have found one other thing to look at related to the username for the windows login vs the macola login that we are going to try.
Thanks

Well here is a shot in the dark.

First I agree that this can be more complicated than a forum reply but here are some simple things to do.

First the code is stored by user on the system. make sure he is logging into MACOLA as the user name listed above. The network userid is not relevant in 7.x.x.x.

Also the other machines that he logs into need to have the flex client installed. Usually from the <macola directory>\instflex\setup.exe

In addition to all clients having the flex client installed, if you put the vba project in a \macola folder under the oe0101.o, everyone can access the flex. Though, I would question if the oe0101.o is the project driving the BOL enhancement. oe0101.0 is the order entry project. Do you have other vba projects under vba? This is most likely where your code is located. There is a macola VAR in Des Moines that knows flex, so you might want to contact them if you can't resolve here. They are very knowledgeable and have quite a few installations of macola.
