Hmmm..... I know VIRTUALLY NOTHING of VB6 programming; but is there a way to track the writing of files? (if so, then we could PROBABLY find a way to use a similar function to track file printing)
Oops; just had a spntaneous thought......
Why not send a device-type "ping" to the printer to find out if it is "ready"? (if it's "ready," then it MUST be done printing)
I have a macro that sends a document to the printer then closes the doc and the application. Sometimes the printer is busy or out of paper or some such and the macro encounters a problem closing document.
How can I determine at least if the spooling is complete to a printer?
