I have some old VB6 programs, originally written for XP environment which use statements
such as CopyMemory and features of Glut32.DLL. However when migrated to Windows 7 or higher
they no longer work. Any ideas of a work-around ?

The program using Copymemory just crashes with no message. The other program reports "Invalid Glut32.dll" even when one is present.

>even when one is present

Present where? I believe you need a copy of the DLL in C:\Windows\SysWOW64

>he program using Copymemory just crashes with no message.

We need to see the code, then.. Otherwise we;d just be guessing.

The problem with the glut32.dll was solved by moving it to the Syswow64 folder.

The other issue is a windows compatibility issue and it looks like some old programs
were only meant to work in Windows XP.

Thankyou very much for your help.
