Using VB6 to write data to an Excel spreadsheet.
Although I use ExcelApp.quit {EcelApp is the named I opened Excel with} I cannot open the written Excel workbook without first closing the VB6 application. After closing the VB6 application I can open the written Ecel workbook without any problem.
Any help will be appreciated.

This may be some kind of locking issue. Is there any other method (apart from quit) of the excel object that could be used??

I did not find anything in Micro Softs Programming for Excel. I did ExcelAapp.quit followed by Set ExcelApp = nothing.
