I am rather new to VB6, coming up from version 3 and 4. I would like to know why I cant seem to figure out HOW to see the FULL size of my FORMS in the design window???? ...like before in previous versions of VB, this having to scroll around to see the whole form in design mode sucks!

ALSO why, when I press F4 or try to view properties of any object, do I get a FULL screen window of the property window when I just want it in the column style normal mode, like it used to be???

Your help is much appreciated!!! Does anyone know how to print the whole manual off of the help area or CD??? This sure would help. thanks again.
Trying to get up to speed with this new version is a pain when Microsoft keeps trying to fix stuff thats not broken.
Their so-called improvements simply make our learning curve and upgrade path more tedious and cumbersome!!!!
<grin>
Go to tools/options/advanced and check the "SDI Development Environment" checkbox. That should make you feel more at home.
The manuals? Printed manuals are a pain - you can't search them and someone is always disappearing with your copy. Join the computer age!! Learn to love online manuals (of course - they're difficult to read in the bath)
Hey Mike thank you, thank you, ever so much!!!
I cant believe that it was such an easy change.

You are a gentlman and a scholar! I appreciate
the help. You have made my life, (and the time
I must spend in the developement environment),
so much warmer and fuzzier! Thanks again.

Also, I AM getting used to, and actually preferring
the use of the on-line manuals. Just have to bite
the bullet and get used to them. Like you say, they
are easier to use once you get the hang of it. So
I am taking your advice, and glad that I have no use
for them in the bath!!!
I wish queries were all so easy to answer.
p.s. I still don't know (or care) what SDI stands for.
