I have an application written in VB6 that uses Excel and Word’s VBA for some reports. Excel (or Word) object is created in VB6 (early binding, I have a reference to Word and Excel) and VBA code residing in VB6 application does some ‘magic’ to either Word or Excel.
Right now we have Office 2016, and everything works OK.
We are about to move to Office 365 and I wonder if the application will still work with the new O365. Hopefully I will be able to do some testing, but I would like to find as much as I can about it.
