If I want to test a select statement in SQL 7 Query analyser
before using it in VB6 I can,Is it possible to do the same thing in Access 2000?

Sure, just go to a NEW query
click OK (make sure it says "Design View" in box)
Click Close
Go to the SQL view (left button on tool bar)
Paste your SQL statement in
Run it (red exclamation mark on toolbar) Jim Lunde
