VB5 Vs. VB6, how much diffrence?

I was wondering how diffrent VB5 is from VB6, I have used the VB6 working model (a demo I got off a CD in a book) and would like to finally purchase it (more likely, bid), but it's a little too much for me, I wanted to get the VB6 Pro edition, but as I said, I couldn't get near that amount of money (I'm a kid), so I'm considering VB5 Pro edition, I've seen it go for low prices on eBay.com.
I basically wanted to know from a old VB5 user how much diffrent is it from VB6, one thing is the code pretty much the same as VB6, with the same amount of power? I don't mind if the debugging or the database functions aren't as great as VB6, I just want to create programs a VB6 programmer could.
