I have an NT 4.0 with Win98/WinME/Win95 workstations running a VB5 program with an Access 2000 DB.
When a user updates or creates a record, the record does not always appear. Each record change must be saved and confirmed before continuing within the program. The records can be shared, however, the users are extremely unlikely to access or make changes to the same record in the same day. Sometimes deleted records will appear the very next day even though they were confirmed deleted. The users have no administrative access and it is almost as if the system is randomly omitting DB modifications.
If anyone has experienced this type of problem or may have any suggestions please let me know. If you feel this may be more network related please let me know also.
