What is the best way to learn VB if you never programmed before?

Find a beginning VB programming book or coarse at a tech school and just start using it. As your skills progress you will want to look into more books or coarses. You have to use it to learn. Another note is that you will need to continue to use it or you will forget things, ie my Fortran skills are almost non existant any more as I have not used it in about 10 years. If you choose to battle wits with the witless be prepared to lose.
