VB Runtime error for command object--HELP

Hi,
Iam using command object to attach database to my report.so when i run the report it is giving the follwing error
"RunTimeError:-2147192179(8004728d)
Error Detected By Db Dll"
Iam using the following syntax to attch command object to my crystal Report
Report.Database.AddADOCommand activeconn, datacommand1

would anybody please solve my problem
