Hi,

After upgrading to Office XP Pro my VB app errors with a Run-time error '91', Object variable or With Block variable not set". This error appears when I attempt to create a word page. My current .olb file is msword8.olb

Thanks..

Hi,
Before you get carried away, check Microsoft for library updates and bug fixes of WinXP

I searched MS Knowledge base for Office XP updates and found no articles regarding this error. (I'll apply Office XP sp1 anyway). However, I found an interesting article that may apply. The article warns not to copy *.olb files as part of your package install as Office handles these files. The installer copies msword.olb to the system32 folder. [ACTION: SharedFile: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\MSWORD.OLB"] Could this be the issue?

Note: The app runs fine using Windows XP/Office 2000.
