VB Procedure Help??

I am not to good aat VB, yet. I need a little help on this, I want to put this in the Before Update procedure for a text box. I have a variable, NumberVactionWeeks, in which I want to say:
If NumberVacationWeeks = 2 Then
Here is where is don't know how to put it, I want to then enter a date else goto previous record or tab. This is probably a cake walk for some of you folks. Thaanks alot in advance.
