VB or CGI?

Hello

I wonder if anyone can help me with this general query. I have a job interview soon and will be asked about CGI/Perl versus ASP/VBScript.

Is it true that CGI is superior to ASP? Can it do more things? I know very little about it and always asociate it with UNIX and minority issues on the Web, but I might be wrong.

Any help appreciated
