I have had unpredictable results when using the VB internet
transfer control. I found a link below which suggests directly
accessing the wininet.dll library to perform more reliable
transfers of html from different websites. The code described in
the link below for internet transfer performs perfectly in Win98,
however, when I install the same application on WinNT 4.0, the
transfer of html does not take place. I'm wondering if anyone
can offer assistance or a work around?

Control" by Peter Aitken. I contacted Peter but he says he has
no experience with WinNT 4.0.
