All,

Is there a way to have VB pages displayed as html or have values passed from an html to a VB and back to the html?

All help will be greatly appreciated.

Daniel

Do you know the Chabad Lubavitch Sheliach in your area?
He is waiting for you!

Daniel,

Without going into HTML in depth, by far the easiest way of doing it is visiting
They've produced a conversion program called TegoWeb that converts your exiting VB4/5/6 Code/Forms/Projects into HTML/DHTML (Dynamic) and they even have an ISP (Last time i checked) for Efficient upload of your newly converted "Website"....

DHTML apps are really nice, but you need to be careful. When you develop DHTML apps or use OCXs in your web pages, you risk limiting you audience to only those who use I.E. If that is not an issue (such as on an Intranet where you can dictate what type of browser your audience will be using) then DHTML is a great thing. If you can not dictate the browser type used by your audience, then take a look at WebClasses. These are in-process VB ActiveX Dlls that reside within the IIS process space and give you easy access to the ISAPI calls. They are great for dynamically rendering HTML that can be used by all browser types. Just a thought . . .
