Hello there,

I am running CE10, via a Citrix server. I mention the Citrix because of the licensing issues it implies.

I have NEVER used the CE SDK previously. Always it's been RDC until now, via VB.

I need to be able to pass 3 parameters (UserID, PositionID, DistrictID) to a report on CE & then view the report.
These 3 parameters mentioned are for Security, hence, can't be left to the user to enter. They will be programmatically obtained & passed in. They are also NOT going to be the only parameters on the report.

I didn't really want to use ASP/CSP; all of this needs to sit inside a 3rd party app & dynamically display the reports available to each user. I am also NOT an ASP/CSP developer.

I've had a decent trawl through the CE_SDK.chm, but, can't find any suggestion that I can actually View a report. Is it possible? Any suggestions/examples?

Assuming it's possible, am I able to pass in 3 parameters & not have them requested when the report is viewed & the user enters values for the other parameters on the report?
I know this is possible when you publish the report; you can give a parameter a default value & it is not then requested when a user views that report.

Shall we just say that I am WELL over my head at this point & looking desperately for ANY sight of land.

ALL suggestions warmly welcomed,

Peter.
