Hi, thanks for any replies.
In my report, I have a textbox whose value comes from a query. I have set its can grow poperty to yes. I want to attach a label next to that text box. However, depending on the value of the textbox, the space between the two varies. How can I make them look consistent with just a single space in between them?

Thanks a lot.

Have you looked at the Text Align Property. Try setting the Align Property for the label to Right and the Align Property for the textbox to Left. Then space them on the report. It may create other problems but it's worth looking at.

I used a single field on the report area and then concatenated the data fields for the control source. So it looked like
=[Title] & " " & [FirstName] & " " & [Surname]

This worked. Thanks
