VB calling F77 program? Is it possible and how

I have written a program in FORTRAN 77. It runs well but is a bit clumsy to use. I would like to put a VB GUI with it and have the results plotted in Excel. Is this possible? And if it is how would you go about it. I am a mechanical engineer and all this is a bit over my head, if any one can suggest a good tutorial or basic example I would very much appreciate the help.
