VB App to change the name of a document w/out saving.

I have a user who wants to save his Word/Excel/Project documents directly to our Exchange server in Public Folders. The problem is that without using save or save as he can't change the name of his new documents from "Document 1" to whatever. Is there a VB App or Macro or Addon which will accomplish this in either the Send To menu item or in properties? If not, would it be easy to write one?
