Ok...I'm stumped. Heres the scenario:
I have setup two connections using the data environment to the same RDB database. One connection goes straight to the database using a valid system DSN. The other connection goes to an MS-Access database containing linked tables to the same RDB database using the same system DSN as the first connection. With both connections I can see the tables/views in the remote database. However, only the method of using MS-Access as a "middle man" allows me to perform queries successfully. The other method produces a "Function Sequence Error". I would love to use the data environment features/data reports without using MS-Access as a "middle man". Does anyone have any ideas??
